The Dream Tree

When I moved to Revelstoke, I was 3 years old. We moved into a little house with a big yard: 3 gardens, cherry trees, apple trees, a pear tree, fir trees, willow trees, and best of all a big shady maple- the Dream Tree. The Dream Tree was our summer time sanctuary where we played in the shade on a big blanket most hot days, it was later a safe place for me to climb when I just couldn't handle the drama of my teenage world anymore. Now its in a yard that no longer belongs to my family, but I can see it towering over the roof of my old house, and one day soon I might sneak into the back yard and try to climb it again.

The original Dream Tree was an apple tree in a Serendipity book. This was the tree that all the happy fuzzy caterpillars lived their lives, dreamed their dreams, and played their games... at least until they became butterflies. This blog is where all my fuzzy little dreams will live, until they grow wings.

Its also where you can drop by to see what's going on in my fuzzy little brain. I hope you'll leave a comment when you drop by- I miss all my scattered friends and would love to hear from you.
